Catching Up - September 22 - October 13, 2012

Time is passing by in a flash. Its hard to believe that in just a few short weeks it will be November and soon after that, Christmas and then time to start a new year! Craziness... Even talking it one day at a time, time is still going way too fast.

Looks like it was about September 20 the last time I posted something, so let's catch up...

MaKayla's Birthday Celebration

 Guess what....yesterday was MaKayla's 6th birthday!!!

Her teacher is such a sweet heart. She brought cupcakes to class to celebrate her special day.

Baby Schmidenberg Baby Shower

Wow, when you think about it, 

Jamie and I have been

 Best Friends for 

over 25 years!!! 

We went to the same elementary school, the same middle school and graduated high school together. Wow, 25+ years! God has been really good to me and I am truly  blessed because there are at least 7 more awesome individuals that I can add to the list of people that I have been friends with for that long! 


So can you imagine my excitement when Jamie told me she was having her first child!!!!!???

Mother's Day Breakfast

Growing up, as with most little girls I loved doll babies.

It's Mardi Gras Time

I am so excited about this weekend.

She will be 17!!!

Congratulations to the Newlyweds!

I love weddings, especially outdoor weddings, and on Wednesday, I had the pleasure of shooting my first wedding solo. Was I nervous? You betcha...but my excitement of being able to preserve this couples milestone in their relationship kept it as a welcomed nervousness. One that I was able to channel into truly capturing their love.  I want to thank the couple again for being so patient and understanding and trusting me with documenting this special moment in their live together.

Becoming a Tradition

Besides Fall, Spring is my favorite time of the year. The weather is warming up, the flowers smell so lovely and the vibrant colors are enough to make even the grayest days bright.  As if that was not enough reasons to love spring, I recently came across another event that only happens in the spring! 

On the first day of spring every year (March 20) 

Rita's gives away FREE Italian Ice!

Welcoming Baby Kylan

Baby showers are so much fun. 

I just love all the little details that go

 into making mom and dads day so special. 

Isn't this just the cutest little cake decoration?!

 I loved all the teddy bear throughout the room.

Mom and dad was showered with lots of gift. 

And to end the evening, 

who can resist making mom and dad wear a hat made of 

a paper plate, bows and tissue paper from all the gifts.

What a fun way to welcome a baby into this world!
